This presentation will be a review of the CLTP Tasmania journey from an idea through to production of its first job installed in the first week of August.  It look at challenges in terms of run down nature of our hardwood industry, capacity constraints and how to overcome.

Clinton will also provide an insight into the future of “Plantation to Project” and what that is in the 'Hermal' context.

Clinton Tilley manages a series of businesses across multiple industries from timber wholesale, modular construction, property development and investment and a marina. Additionally, Clinton is spearheading the Groups’ push into plantation sourced hardwood and converting it into engineered timber in Tasmania, presently this resource is chipped and sent overseas for paper and pulp. As a by-product of the wood waste he is working on Bio energy with a long term focus on commercially sustainable bio plastics.

He has been with the Hermal Group for over 15 years, the last 9 as CEO. Prior to this Clinton was a banker whose time in banking focussed primarily around property development and investment funding. Clinton takes great pride is developing his staff and executive team around him in their skills and culture.
